As a nonprofit membership organization, the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM) has a goal to advance neuromuscular (NM), musculoskeletal (MSK), and electrodiagnostic (EDX - EMG, NCS, NMUS) medicine.

The World Muscle Society (WMS) is a global, multidisciplinary community that aims to share all aspects of neuromuscular physiology and diseases. The WMS consists of a wide spectrum of medical professionals and scientists who are committed to advancing the science of neuromuscular disorders, and the care for people living with them.

The Peripheral Nerve Society (PNS) is a nonprofit, international organization that encompasses a wide range of scientists, physicians, and other healthcare providers. The PNS works to treat and investigate diseases of the peripheral nervous system, and to improve the lives of people with peripheral neuropathies.

The Neuromuscular Disease Network for Canada (NMD4C) is the new pan-Canadian network that brings together the country’s leading clinical, scientific, technical, and patient expertise to improve care, research, and collaboration in neuromuscular disease.

The International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations is a global network that helps members by curating and creating information, and by acting as a gateway through which members can connect. Their vision is a world free of ALS/MND and their two main focuses are community and capability.
