INVESTIGATOR DRIVEN RESEARCH
Dr. Warman Chardon is currently investigating:

Autoimmune neuromuscular diseases (muscular dystrophy, myopathies, HSP, motor neuropathies, SMA etc) using advanced genomic methods / molecular diagnostics to identify novel disease genes and expand the known phenotypes.

She uses imaging techniques, especially muscle MRI and MYO-Share platform, to better characterize disease progression and help with diagnosis.

Her work is translational: she leads clinical research at the Ottawa Neuromuscular Centre (including outcome measures, serum biomarkers, biobanking) aiming to translate discoveries into better clinical care and trials for patients with neuromuscular disorders.
Dr. Breiner is currently investigating:
